IUGC Smart Competition is an olympiad competition among high school students that focuses on the field of geosciences. This competition is designed with varied mechanisms that not only consist of quick question and answer sessions, but  also tests participant’s conceptual understanding and analytical abilities through an application-based system. Participants will be faced with various forms of questions that are both conceptual and applicative, including the process of understanding geoscience problems. This competition aims to sharpen participants’ intelligence, precision, and critical thinking skills, while also deepening their understanding of Earth phenomena and their interactions in an educational competitive atmosphere.
