Paper & Poster Competition is a scientific competition in which participants prepare a scientific paper and explain it visually through a scientific poster. The focus of this competition is on in-depth research related to topics of energy or geophysics, for example geothermal energy utilization, optimization of renewable energy technology, interpretation of geophysical data, or case studies of disaster mitigation analysis. This competition tests research ability, methodology, data analysis, and the ability to present information effectively to an audience. Some events require participants to present their research results directly to the panel of judges.
